Kathy Siddens Selected to Lead Prosperity Connection

ST. LOUIS, MO, March 22, 2021 – Prosperity Connection’s Board of Directors has selected Kathy Siddens as the organization’s new Executive Director. After a nearly year-long search, Siddens was identified as a top contender for the position because of her long-standing work on behalf of the financial services industry and her support of financial wellness programs throughout the St. Louis region. Siddens comes to Prosperity Connection after nearly 18 years at U.S. Bank, where she most recently served as Vice President and Regional Community Affairs Manager.
“I am truly honored to join the Prosperity Connection family in a leadership capacity,” says Siddens. She adds, “For many years, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing first-hand the incredible impact Prosperity Connection has had on individuals and families – they are simply the best. I look forward to helping lead the organization into the future.”
Through Siddens’ leadership, Prosperity Connection will continue to grow its programs in order to assist more clients in their efforts to pay down debt, increase credit scores, and purchase wealth-building assets like a car, a business, or a home. Susan Katzman, Prosperity Connection Board Chair comments, “We have been led by a strong Executive Director in Paul Woodruff and look forward to Kathy working in tandem with our talented staff to move us forward in new and expanded directions. We are here to enrich the lives of St. Louis residents.”
Paul Woodruff, who has served as Executive Director of Prosperity Connection since 2013, shares, “I could not be more confident in the future of the organization with Kathy at the helm. She is an experienced and respected community development leader who knows our mission and staff well. Prosperity Connection and the clients we serve will have a bright future with Kathy as the new guiding force behind our work.” Woodruff is leaving his post to become the Vice President of Community Development for Prosperity Connection’s long-time partner, St. Louis Community Credit Union.
Prosperity Connection is a St. Louis-based nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote economic success for everyone in the St. Louis region by providing financial education and access to reliable financial products and services. The organization was founded in 2009 and currently serves several thousand individuals per year.
