2025 marks the third year of our new favorite tradition— the Client Celebration. Each year, we gather to recognize the dedication and determination of our clients as they pursue greater financial wellness. This year, we elevated the event by having it at the beautiful Third Degree Glass Factory with U.S. Bank as our presenting sponsor and RGA as our supporting sponsor! We honored five outstanding individuals who have shown unwavering commitment to their goals, overcoming challenges and making meaningful progress along the way. Their journeys are not only inspiring—they’re a powerful reminder of what’s possible when passion meets persistence. Let’s meet this year’s honorees and celebrate their incredible achievements!
Tara Price

Tara dreamed of purchasing a home but wasn’t sure how to make it happen. Although she had steady income, much of it was going toward nightly hotel stays. When she was denied a mortgage, she turned to Prosperity Connection for support. Tara worked with her coach, Veronica, to build a budget, manage her money more intentionally, and pay down collections. With dedication and consistency, Tara raised her credit score by 105 points—enough to qualify for a mortgage. Nearly a year after starting her financial coaching journey, she achieved her goal: she purchased a duplex, now living on one side and renting out the other. Tara’s story is a testament to what’s possible with guidance, perseverance, and a clear plan. Her transformation from financial instability to successful homeownership is an inspiring reminder of the power of coaching and self-belief.
Jamie Townson

Jamie was determined to create a stable home for her two daughters and grandchild. She came to Prosperity Connection ready to take the necessary steps, even while navigating unpredictable housing and financial roadblocks. With her coach Sasha’s support, Jamie worked on rebuilding her credit, developing savings habits, and staying focused on her long-term vision. Over the course of two years, she raised her credit score by an incredible 161 points and began building a nest egg for the future. In 2024, Jamie’s determination paid off—she officially became a homeowner! Her story is one of persistence, courage, and resilience. Today, Jamie is not only providing the home she dreamed of for her family, but she’s also showing others what’s possible with a little help, a lot of heart, and a vision you refuse to give up on.
Jennifer orr

Jen spent over two years working with Prosperity Connection to overcome barriers that stood in the way of her dream to buy a home. She faced aggressive loan terms, high monthly expenses, and the challenge of changing long-standing spending habits. With encouragement from her coach, Jen connected with organizations like LifeWise StL for additional debt support and made big lifestyle changes—like taking walks instead of shopping and entrusting her credit cards to her stepmom. These new habits helped her gain control over her finances and build new momentum. Jen steadily paid off debt, improved her credit score, and saved $12,000 toward her down payment. Thanks to her hard work and support system, she now owns her first home. Jen’s journey is a powerful example of what can happen when someone decides to take charge of their financial future—one step at a time.
Jasmine Summers

Jasmine wanted to feel confident and in control of her finances. She was tired of the stress and shame that came with checking her bank account. From the start, she set clear goals: increase her credit score, build savings, and develop a working budget. With her coach’s support, Jasmine tackled collections and opened credit-building products. She even attended a First Bank class, where she earned a $100 incentive. Through consistency, accountability meetings, and smart financial choices, Jasmine started to see real progress. Her income increased, her mindset shifted, and her credit score went up by an impressive 146 points. Today, Jasmine is no longer paralyzed by financial fear. Instead, she’s actively reducing debt and growing her savings—building the stable, empowered future she once only hoped for. Her story is proof that financial peace of mind is possible with the right tools and a lot of determination.
DeAiris Montgomery

When DeAiris first met with her coach, Veronica, buying a home wasn’t even on her radar—she didn’t think it was meant for her. Instead, she focused on learning to budget and build savings. But after 18 months of consistent effort and some challenges with her rental, DeAiris began to see homeownership as a real possibility. She raised her credit score by over 75 points, paid off thousands in debt, and prepared herself for a mortgage. Wanting to feel secure in her next steps, DeAiris created a bill-pay account with enough saved to cover a full year of expenses—and continues to add to it! Along the way, she also partnered with LifeWise StL, St. Joseph Housing Initiative, Carrollton Bank, and Home Sweet Home. In April 2024, she and her two children closed on their new home—making her the first homeowner in her family. What a legacy!
